The Four Rites

Four ways to read the walls

One temple, four very different puzzles. Each rite has its own feel — a cascade, a memory, a matching, a mending — so the temple never plays the same way twice.

I

Glyph Cascade

Swap two neighbouring glyph tiles to line up three of a kind. They clear, the wall above tumbles down, and fresh glyphs pour in for chained cascades.

Match-three
II

Torch Recall

Watch the torches flare in order, then repeat the sequence from memory. Each round it grows by one — how long a chain can you hold in your mind?

Memory sequence
III

Cartouche Pairs

Turn the face-down cartouches two at a time and find the matching artifacts. Keep the board in your head and clear it in as few turns as you can.

Pairs memory
IV

Fresco Mend

A painted fresco has slid out of place. Slide the tiles one by one back into their frame until the ancient scene is whole again.

Four Dominions

Follow the Nile, dominion by dominion

Ninety-six passages wind through four regions, opened in order as you go. Every passage is rated one to three ankhs for how cleanly you solved it — return to earn the third.

Valley of the Nile

24 passages · 1–3 ankhs each

Where the journey begins — gentle rites along the river that teach the temple's language of glyphs, torches and cartouches.

Pyramids of Giza

24 passages · 1–3 ankhs each

Beneath the great tombs the puzzles tighten and the cascades run longer. Earn enough ankhs here and the next dominion's gate swings open.

Valley of the Kings

24 passages · 1–3 ankhs each

Deeper still, among the hidden royal halls, where memory rites stretch longest and every clean solve counts.

Temples of the Gods

24 passages · 1–3 ankhs each

The final sanctuaries, dedicated to the great gods — the temple's toughest passages and its most rewarding secrets.

The Codex

Solve a little, learn a little

The ankhs you earn don't just open doors — they unlock the Codex, twelve illustrated entries on the real people and gods of Ancient Egypt. Each one is a short, original history, revealed as a quiet reward for progress. Six gods and six pharaohs in all.

Six Gods

Revealed as ankhs are earned
Ra Isis Anubis Osiris Horus Thoth

Six Pharaohs

A short, true history each
Narmer Khufu Hatshepsut Tutankhamun Ramesses II Cleopatra
Scarabs & the Grand Bazaar

Earn Scarabs, spend them wisely

Every passage you solve rewards you with Scarabs, the temple's own tokens. Carry them to the Grand Bazaar and trade for a little help or a fresh look.

Hint Charms

Stuck on a wall? A charm points out a helpful move so a tricky passage keeps flowing.

Passkeys

Trade a passkey to step past one stubborn passage and keep exploring the dominion.

Tile & Card Skins

Dress the glyph tiles and cartouche cards in new carved styles — purely for the look of it.

Dominion Keys

Save up for a dominion key to open the next region's gate the moment you're ready.

Earned only through play. Scarabs are won by solving passages — never with real money. There are no ads and no real-money purchases anywhere in Ta-Wy Secrets.

Kept Up Daily

A reason to return each day

Daily Decree

A fresh hand-set challenge every day, drawn from across the four rites — one new passage to test your form.

Seven-Day Offering

Return each day to claim the next step on the Offering ladder. Miss a day and the ladder resets to the start.

Twelve Honors

Twelve Honors mark the milestones of a true temple-reader — first cascades, long torch chains, ankhs earned and dominions cleared.
